I write poems on the spot using my grandfather's typewriter in parks, farmer's markets, and post offices across Canada. I've done pop up work at the Halifax Brewery Market and Toronto's First Post Office, and am a regular vendor at Withrow Farmer's Market in Toronto's East end. I'm also one of the poets on the roster at Poesy, where I've been hired to write poems at corporate events, weddings, and beyond.
You can bring me out to your public or private events, including vintage markets, brand launches, and even weddings, to write poems on the spot based on live prompts from guests.
I host poetry workshops for beginner and experienced writers, whether they're high school students or adults of all ages. Participants get a condensed guide to poetic devices, a selection of prompts to get creative writing flowing, and walk away with at least one poem drafted.
